WAR

Day 1: farming day — and the Hatter's Falling Down day

TWU spent the first day of the Strongest Leader farming — and closed it at the top of the State Honor ranking. Meanwhile, in Zone 1, one Hatter had his Falling Down day.

DAY ONE of the Strongest Leader is in the books, and we start with the best part: when the clock hit the reset, TWU was the number one faction in the State Honor ranking. In the morning we were second, behind T1N. By night, we had passed everyone. That is what a team does when it pushes the same way.

The rankings

The first day of the event was resources day — farming day, as every TGM player calls it — with a minimum of 2,000,000 points. 56 of our 95 members reached it. Here is the State, faction by faction and group by group, read a few minutes before the reset — our Eagle group is third, less than 10,000 points from the top.

The Hatter's Falling Down day

Zone 1. A quiet morning on the map. The barrels were full, the tiles were shining, and nobody suspected a thing.

You know the rule: every raid leader may slow rob level 5 oil. Everyone else quick robs it, or leaves it alone. The list went out. The Hatter read it once. He read it twice. Some of those names surprised him. And so he did the one thing nobody should do — he sent his troops to the level 5 oil anyway.

Mine. MINE. All of these barrels are MINE!— ThE MaD HaTTeR

GRRRRRR!

By lunchtime, the Hatter was guarding more barrels than a refinery. And where was the R4 who should have been keeping an eye on things?

The sleeping beauty. Guarding the treasure. With his eyes closed.

Asleep. Teddy Boys had found a level 5 diamond tile — the kind you quick rob, always, no exceptions — sent his troops for a slow rob, sat down on top of the treasure to wait… and dozed off right there.

ZZZZZ…

Back in the oil fields, the Hatter was still fuming. He turned to the map — and to the line of towers crawling across it. Who drew this? he asked the whole faction chat. It's terrible. I'd do it better.

The tower path. Still standing. Still hers.

The architect was MoonsScar. She looked at the plan. She looked at the Hatter. And she did what every builder does on a day like that.

Darling, the towers are fine. Drink your tea.— MoonsScar

By night, the oil was still there. The diamonds were still there. The towers were still standing. And so was the team.

Every Hatter needs a tea party. This one has three seats — and room for everyone.

That is how the day should end, every day: around the same table. A long war is won by people who stay positive, keep their eyes on the mission and pull in the same direction. And the mission is simple: have fun together, and fight for the win in this GW.

A word from the officers
TALK TO US.
DON'T BREAK THE RULES.

If something bothers you — a decision, a list, the way things are run — call us and talk. Complain, protest, argue: that is fair, and we will listen. Breaking the rules is not. It doesn't fix anything; it only starts a new fire.

The rules, one more time
  • Level 5 oil: raid leaders slow rob it. Everyone else quick robs it (QR), or leaves it.
  • Level 5 diamonds: always QR. Nobody slow robs them — R4s included.

One focus: fight for the win

The focus of the team right now is one: improve our performance and fight for the win in this Governor War. Two things make the difference, and both are in your hands.

The daily minimums. Every member who reaches the minimum pushes the whole faction forward. We finished day 1 at the top with 56 of 95 members on target. Imagine the gap with all 95.

The oil. We can only rob it three days a week — Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays — so make every one of those days count. Oil upgrades your Oil Supply and unlocks the Mercenaries — troops stronger than T4. When the big fights come, we want mercenaries on the front line, not our own troops dying in every battle. Every barrel you rob is a soldier you do not lose tomorrow.

One team. Every line counts.

See you after the next reset. Sharpen your weapons. Let's fight.
