Almost everything this faction does, it does inside a GW. It is not one battle and it is not one weekend: it is a season of about seven weeks, made of nine smaller events, and almost every rule in this handbook exists because of something that happens inside it.
- About seven weeks, made of nine events of five days each.
- Two kinds of event, alternating: SL and FH.
- Day five of every event is MD.
- Eight arsenal rounds, not nine.
- Every time in this game is UTC.
The shape of it
Nine events of five days, and about seven weeks end to end
Nine events of five days is forty-five days of event. End to end a season runs about seven weeks, and the exact length varies — so plan by the event you are in, not by a date you worked out at the start. Nothing about it is ours either: the dates come from the game, and we read them rather than set them.
Two kinds of event, one after the other
The nine events are not all the same. They alternate between SL — Strongest Leader and FH — Faction Hegemony, starting with SL. That makes five SL and four FH, and it means the season both opens and closes with an SL.
| Event | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kind | SL | FH | SL | FH | SL | FH | SL | FH | SL |
Eight arsenal rounds, because the last event has none
The arsenals are fought on MD, and every event has an MD — except that the ninth one does not carry an arsenal round. Nine events, eight rounds. Count them wrong and you will spend the whole season expecting one more big night than there is.
What surrounds it
GW and CvC never run at the same time. FCU can land on either
A GW is about 85 to 90 per cent of everything the faction does in a year. CvC is the other ten or fifteen, and it never overlaps with a GW. The FCU is separate from both and can fall on top of either one — which is exactly when a week gets heavy.
| Event | Weight | How long |
|---|---|---|
| GW | 85–90% | ~6 weeks |
| CvC | 10–15% | 7 days |
| FCU | separate, continuous | 6 days, every 2 weeks |
The game does not number the GWs, so we name them by month
There is no "GW 14" anywhere on your screen. To be able to talk about one after it is over, we call each season by the month and year it started — 2026-09. When an officer says a number happened in 2026-09, that is which season they mean.
Every time you will ever be given is UTC
Timings, deadlines, the hour a fight starts, the moment the bank window closes: all of it is UTC, with no exceptions and no local versions. Work out your own offset once and write it down somewhere — that one piece of homework prevents most of the "I thought it was later" in this faction.
Nine events. Five days each. Day five is where it is decided.
