This faction speaks a language of about thirty words, and it is nobody's mother tongue. Half an hour here is the difference between answering a call and asking what the call meant — and during a fight, nobody has time to answer you.
- Knives, guns, bikes — the three troops, always in that order.
- 334 — a code: 30% knives, 30% guns, 40% bikes.
- Star — your troop star, 7 to 10. It sets your priority.
- RJB — the attack buff. Not "RJA".
The three troops
We always say knives, guns, bikes
The game calls them bruiser, hitman and biker. Different languages call them a dozen other things. In this faction there is one set of words, always in this order, and it is not a matter of taste: a call has to be read at a glance by someone whose language it is not.
| We say | The game calls it | The icon |
|---|---|---|
| knives | bruiser | a knife |
| guns | hitman | a rifle |
| bikes | biker | a motorbike |
Two numbers, and they are not the same number
The number next to the troop icon is the tier — 3, 4, 5 — and it says how strong that troop is. The number inside the star is your troop star, 7 to 10, and it is a property of you, not of the troop. The star is what sets your joining priority; the tier is what dies first.
Ask before the fight, never during
If a word on this page is still unclear, ask in chat now — today, with nothing happening. The one moment you must not ask is while a raid is filling, because the answer costs the caller the seconds they were using to win.
What people are called in a fight
| Word | What it means |
|---|---|
| RL — raid leader | The member who opens the raid or the building defense, and whose troops lead it. |
| Caller | The one who organises the whole fight and speaks for it — before, during and after, in Faction Message and faction chat. Sets the troops, the formation and the call. |
| Filler | Everyone who fills the raids with troops. Most of the time, you. |
| UB — Underboss | A support account behind a main, usually its owner's own. |
What people shout in a fight
| Word | What it means |
|---|---|
| the code | Three digits, tens of percent, in the order knives-guns-bikes. The chapter on codes has the full list. |
| square / wedge | The two formation shapes. "Hitman square" means guns in the front row. |
| anchor | The troop you always leave in a raid so it does not collapse. |
| nitro | A raid speed-up. When it is called, everyone uses one. |
| recon / anti-recon | Scouting a target, and the setting that stops you being scouted. |
| meatshield | Cheap low-tier troops kept as a wall in front of the expensive ones. |
| bubble | The shield that makes your mansion untouchable. |
| enraged | The state after you attack someone: you cannot bubble and cannot go home. |
| instant hit | What happens when you move after a raid has already started. |
Places, events and the calendar
| Letters | What they stand for |
|---|---|
| GW | Governor War — the six-week season, and about ninety per cent of what this faction does. |
| MD | Massacre Day — the fifth and last day of each GW event, and where the arsenals are fought. |
| CvC | City vs City. Seven phases, and the city wins, not the faction. |
| FCU | Faction Call-Up — six days of individual tasks that become faction points. |
| SGO | Supreme Glory of Oakvale. We take part in every one, and high on the list. |
| OAK | The ordinary Oakvale events, on Saturdays. |
| arsenal | A building held by occupation on MD. Sixty minutes of holding wins it. |
| round | One MD's worth of arsenal fighting across the map. |
| tier (event) | The reward step of a GW day. The faction's target is the top one, every day, by everyone. |
| UM | Underground Market. |
| IH / HH | Intel House and Hitmen Hideout. |
| PS · CP · CH | Police Station · Checkpoint · City Hall. |
| SH | Stronghold. |
| KE · CCA | Killing Event · Cops Counterattack. |
Words that are ours
| Word | What it means here |
|---|---|
| NAP | Non-Attacking Policy — who we do not hit inside the city. |
| RJB — Raid Join Buff | The attack buff you bring into someone's raid. Older material calls it "RJA"; that name is dead. |
| P1 · P2 · P3 | Joining priority. P1 is troop star 10, P2 is star 9, P3 is everyone else. |
| shell | One of our factions. We are one team; the shells are its parts. |
| main · alt · farm | Your fighting account, your second, and the one that produces. |
| bank donation | The offseason donation to the faction bank, with a target per RSS. |
| faction investments | The weekly one. A different thing, and the two are never mixed. |
| QR | The quick-robbery skill. Some tiles may only be taken with it. |
| EEI / kill rate | Eliminated Enemy Influence, and the ratio of it to your kills — it says whether you fight real targets. |
