Joining, leaving, and coming back

What a new member has to bring, how to step away without it costing you anything, and how to come back.

updated 2026-09-08

Three moments, and the faction handles all three the same way: it tells you the rule beforehand and it does not make it personal. What you bring on the way in, what you say before you step away, and what it takes to come back.

The short version
  • To join: RJB 8% and troop star 10.
  • That bar is for new members only.
  • Going quiet? Tell an R4 first. Nothing else is asked.
  • Removed for inactivity is not a door closing.

Coming in

01

What a new member brings

Two numbers, and they are the whole entry bar:

WhatMinimum
RJB — Raid Join Buff8%
Troop star10
02

That bar is for new members only

It applies to people coming in, and to nobody else. Members who are already here are read by their team profile — what they do in fights, what they give, whether they are around — and not by a bar written after they joined. A rule for the door is not a rule for the room.

Stepping away

03

Say it before you go quiet

Work, exams, a trip, a bad week, a month you need for yourself. None of it is a problem here and nobody is asked to choose this game over their life. The only version that costs you something is disappearing without a word, because the faction plans a war around who it thinks is coming.

Post it with /absence in the Discord or tell your R4. That is the entire procedure, and it takes one line.

04

A long absence may move you, and that is not a demotion

If you are going to be away for a long stretch, you may be moved to one of the farm shells until you are back, or removed from the roster to free the seat. It is arithmetic about seats, not a judgement about you — the faction has a fixed number of them and a war to fight with whoever is holding one.

Coming back

05

Ask for an invitation, and do not take it personally

If you were removed for inactivity, that is not a door closing and it is not a mark against your name. Message an R4 when you are able to play properly again and ask to come back.

Don't take it personally, and ask for an invitation once you are able to be back

That sentence has been in this faction's handbook since long before the TWU existed, and it is still the whole policy.

The three moments

Bring the two numbers. Say when you go. Ask when you return.
